Roaming soul is a documentary filmed in the Twin Cities about the homeless who roam the streets with no real homes to go to. Filmmaker DaJuan Savage went into the streets and shelters to let the homeless tell their stories. He also wanted to experience these same situations so he put himself in the seat of a homeless person living in the Harbor Lights shelter in Downtown Minneapolis, MN. DaJuan Savage also teamed up with the Minneapolis Mad Dads and fed people who were going without meals for the evening, and praying with those who needed it. With research from the Wilder Foundation, DaJuan was able to point out facts about the homeless in the Twin Cities. This video is the impact of a downed economy and the results within. Roaming Soul is the survivor’s tale of everyday struggle.
