The Int'l Fest Favorite Returns for its Minneapolis Theatrical Run!

If the performances by this standout cast featuring Sam Rosen, Zoe Lister-Jones, Michael Imperioli and Josh Hartnett weren't so superb, it could easily be argued that the strikingly gorgeous Minneapolis skyline deserves top billing in this indie feature from first-time director Brady Kiernan.

Thanks to a chance encounter, two former high school classmates have one night to experience what could have been if Casper (Sam Rosen) never enlisted in the fight overseas (Zoe Lister Jones plays the other half of this unexpected romance). Initially agreeing to keep their emotions from overcomplicating their rendezvous, nothing about their night turns out as they planned it. The stars, skyscrapers and an uncertain future loom large over their journey through the unsympathetic, urban landscape.

Jones and Rosen's natural chemistry calls to mind another lovelorn pair in the Linklater fest favorite, BEFORE SUNRISE. With a sense of ease and clarity that's usually reserved for those years removed from the period in question, STUCK BETWEEN STATIONS perfectly captures the here and now for an entire generation.

Join Filmmakers Brady Kiernan (Stuck Between Stations), Michael Blandic (Happy Life), Sam Rosen (Actor, Co-Writer & Co-Producer of Stuck Between Stations), Todd Cobery (Producer of Stuck Between Stations) and Spencer Kiernan (Producer of Stuck Between Stations & Happy Life) in a show-and-tell celebration event for the official theatrical release of Stuck Between Stations and the Minnesota premiere of Happy Life. The filmmakers will screen and discuss behind-the-scenes and bonus footage as well as vintage clips from their earlier work. The evening, sponsored by One Simple Plan Branding Agency, Surly Brewing Co., and IFP Minnesota follows the 7PM premiere of Happy Life at the Trylon Microcinema and anticipates the official run of Stuck Between Stations at The Film Society's Screen #3 at St. Anthony Main Theater beginning Friday, December 16th. Join for drink specials on Surly and happy hour specials on $3 domestic taps and $4 select taps, house wines, rail cocktails and $4.25 appetizers.
